Sherazade Shafiq
Director, Finance
Sherazade is a senior finance professional with many years of international experience in financial reporting, audit and risk management in the development sector. She joined RTP in November 2024 as Director Finance. Over her career, she has worked at the Canadian Audit and Accountability Foundation, Plan Canada, the Asian Development Bank, E&Y Bahrain and PwC, Pakistan. In her various roles she has performed grant management, external and internal audit, financial analysis, financial management assessments, project due diligence and implementation, and capacity building. She holds an M.Sc. in Professional Accountancy from the University of London, and is a member of CPA Ontario, ACCA and the Institute of Internal Auditors. She speaks English, Urdu, German, and is learning French. She has two teenage sons, and enjoys hiking, squash and cooking.
